AI Consulting for Businesses
From AI hype to a sound decision
Few topics occupy management teams as much as artificial intelligence right now – and few are as hard to judge. Between impressive demos and productive use in your own business lie questions about data quality, reliability, data protection and running costs that rarely anyone asks before the budget has been allocated.
Our AI consulting answers these questions before you invest. We look at your workflows and data, not at buzzwords, and assess without bias towards any technology where AI delivers real value – and where conventional automation or better software is the more economical route.
What our AI consulting covers
Potential analysis. Where is time lost today, where is information buried in documents and mailboxes, and what data is already available? The result is a list of possible use cases.
Use case definition. Vague ideas become concrete tasks with a measurable goal: what should the AI do, who uses the result, and when is it good enough?
Technical and economic assessment. Which model is suitable, run locally or with a provider? What do implementation and operation cost, and what benefit do they deliver in return?
Organisational fit. Who checks the results, which data may the model see, and how does the solution fit into existing workflows?
AI where it helps – rules where precision matters
Language models are strong at understanding text and images, but they do not calculate reliably and do not always give the same answer. That is why, in our project cost calculator, an AI model on our own servers only recognises the project type and the stated requirements. The price is calculated by a fixed set of rules – transparent and reproducible.
The same care applies to data. In our product Inventary, credentials such as Wi-Fi passwords never reach the model, and we use local models and European providers. We make such decisions deliberately during consulting and document them, so that they are not left to chance later on.
Consulting backed by hands-on experience
Our advice is not based on theory: we run AI features such as image recognition, translation, hybrid search and knowledge assistants with source references in our own products. If you want to move to implementation after the consulting, we develop the solution as AI-powered software or as an automated process – and can take over operations as well.
Our project cost calculator shows what typical AI solutions cost to implement: a website chatbot comes to about €7,000–13,000, a locally hosted knowledge assistant €39,000–71,000 (net, excluding VAT).

Frequently asked questions about AI consulting
Which tasks in a business is AI worthwhile for?
AI delivers the most where a lot of unstructured information is processed: extracting data from documents, answering recurring questions from your own knowledge base, sorting e-mails or recognising images. For tasks that follow fixed rules, conventional automation is usually more reliable and less expensive.
Do we need our own data for AI?
Not necessarily. Many applications work with pre-trained models that are simply given access to your existing documents, without training a model of your own. What matters is that the content is up to date and easy to find – we check this in the potential analysis.
Local AI model or cloud provider?
Local open-weight models keep your data entirely under your control and incur no per-request costs, but they are not powerful enough for every task. Large models from providers are more capable, but process the data externally. We weigh this up for each use case and combine both where it makes sense.
What happens if AI is not the right solution?
Then we tell you. One outcome of the consulting may be that a process should first be simplified or automated with fixed rules. That is a valuable insight too, because it prevents an investment that would not pay off.
Do you also implement the results of the AI consulting?
Yes. We develop AI-powered software, automate processes and, if you wish, run the solutions on our own infrastructure. Consulting is not a prerequisite for this, but it ensures that the right thing gets built.
