AI and data protection – with self-hosted models
Many businesses hesitate to send customer or operational data to large AI providers. That is not necessary: open models can be run on your own servers, and European providers are a further alternative. We use this approach ourselves. The AI in our project cost calculator runs on our own servers, and project descriptions are not passed on to third parties.
In our product Inventary, an open language model recognises objects in photos and answers guests' questions based solely on the information provided by the hosts – with source references. Do we need a large budget to get started with AI?

Will our data be transferred to OpenAI or other US providers?
Only if you consciously decide so. Depending on the requirements, we use open models on our own servers or European providers. As a matter of principle, we keep sensitive data such as credentials away from the model.
What is a workflow automation platform?
A workflow automation platform connects applications via automated workflows and can be self-hosted if you wish. We use it to connect systems such as ERP, CRM, e-mail and accounting and to build AI steps into workflows, without having to develop custom software for every integration. If you wish, we run the platform for you, including monitoring and backups.
Do you only work with businesses from the Stuttgart region?
Our team is based in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, and we value being close to clients in the region, for example for workshops on possible use cases. But we implement AI projects just as well with businesses from other regions – collaboration then takes place by video call. We are happy to work with you in English.
